It seems to work more efficiently and transparently in rugby where the crowd can hear the conversation between the VAR panel and the referee but at least they got it right by sending off the Welsh goalkeeper.
Yeah, It would help a lot to hear the actual reasoning behind a decision. It is much easier to accept a decision one doesn't agree with that way. Obviously it wouldn't resolve all problems that currently plague refereeing, but it would be a step in the right direction.

Being this is a long holiday weekend (Thanksgiving) for many Americans I'm sure many will catch the match against England. I have no idea which way it will go but hopefully it'll be fun and interesting to watch.

Saudi Arabia's coach, Hervé Renard, likened their win over Argentina to be riding a classic with Pogacar, Van Aert and Van der Poel all looking too much at each other, making it possible for someone else to snatch the win.

Pretty cool.

Ooooh, England v. Wales today, gotta catch that one! (No idea who will win, Wales has a lot more pressure on them though. Hopefully it'll be an interesting and energetic match.)

3-0 England 68 minutes into the match, sad to see Wales collapse. :(

Have to switch to the US v. Iran match now and see what's going on there.

Uk media is so funny. They win a game against weak team and they are going to win a world cup. When 3 days before, they draw against a mediocre team and the manager needs to be sacked, the squad is weak etc.

This Group C thing is fantastic.

I'm sure Mexico will find a way to the knockout stage like always. Even if Poland currently lead by 5 yellow cards to 7.

The difference is Phil Foden.
All five Man City players in the squad were on the pitch at one time during the game; I'd just start them all.

Another very, very tight group! One goal will make Costa Rica and Japan advance at the expense of Germany and Spain.

Two goals in the other direction and both European countries will advance. Wow.

I... have a strange feeling you did not intend to write 'Japan' twice...

Every team in that group had their own disaster:
Japan losing to Costa Rica
Germany losing to Japan
Spain losing to Japan
Costa Rica losing 0-7 to Spain
