Roglic, Martinez and Hindley to the Giro.
Roglic, Martinez and Vlasov to the Tour.
Vlasov and Hindley to the Vuelta.
Lipowitz big goal Dauphine as a leader (he will also ride Strade and Tirreno) and Tour or Vuelta but not as a leader.
Hilly classices is the thing for van Gils.
Conclusions:
In my opinion the Giro is the big goal for the team, they send a team of 2 former giro winners and a second place finisher. This is a strong team. In addition to these riders I think we will see a lot of the italian guys there.
They also said that they will put a bigger focus on the one day races then the years before. A broad team for the cobbled classics. For me this could be a core team for the spring races something like Lazkano, Pithie, Meeus, van Dijcke x2, Tratnik, Koch, Maciejuk, Denz, Moscon, van Poppel, Mullen and Welsford. And then they select the riders who are needed for the different parcours. Adria said he wants to try races like tour of flandern. A really broad team with no superstar but 4-5 guys who could be there in the final of the races (Lazkano, Meeus, Pithie, Tratnik and Tim van Dijcke) and if you are present in the final with more than one guy they should get some top 5s and in smaller races podiums and even a win.
According to a strave ride Koch, Lazkano, van Dijke x2 and Mullen did a Roubaix recon together.
For the hill classics Maxim van Gils is the leader, I also see riders like Lazkano, Wandahl, Adria (definitly a co leader for me), Sobrero, Aleotti and maybe Vlasov (because no Giro participation) competing in these races.
Riders who are participating in the ardennes races are very likely to not participate at the giro, there is to less time in between races and there is no need to rush.
I´m looking forward to the next weeks to see who is training together to maybe get some conclusions about the roosters for the different parts of the year. I think they will prepare the classics like a grand tour.
