Oh no! A rapper's haircut! He rode great today

And yet it was Landa and Vervaeke who were with him till the end and nobody else within 10 minutes. From the days of Boonen, Devolder, Pozzato, Terpstra, Stybar, etc to well, .... this. Quickstep went from being the best classics team over 2 decades to being actually in danger when the roads are flat within 2 years. This downfall needs to be studied.Moscon might be crucial on today's stage. Him and Lampaert will have to do th heavy lifting to keep him safe. So far the former has been really solid overall.
Let's hope today's stage took as much out of his competitors as it did him. Would be a shame to see those who were cowering away and could have been distanced, be the actual winners of this stage.Everyone not on the Evenpoel-wagon after he got visibly mad at Jonas at their conservative approach are fake cycling fans! Slimco will play his part as Vino in 2003 but with better legs in the mountains.
He has won many times pretending to be Pog.Entertaining for sure, smart ridning not so much, but he was very strong.
Still think he should ride a bit more conservative and really pick the right moments. Not try to be Pog.
If he does too much and implodes in the 3rd week, the spectacular attacks won't matter that much.
Try to be Pog? This the first year you have watched Evenepoel? He was attacking and going long range when Pogacar was still at his mother's teat.Entertaining for sure, smart ridning not so much, but he was very strong.

I of course meant riding like Pog does in Grand Tours, always on attack. Remco should be mindful it's his first tour and that it's very back-heavy.Try to be Pog? This the first year you have watched Evenepoel? He was attacking and going long range when Pogacar was still at his mother's teat.
"Remco the gravel king" as he's been known for years.Very smart to not use your best strength which has won you countless races. I see the Danes and Visma fans at it again.
Yes, Remco is very bad on rolling terrain."Remco the gravel king" as he's been known for years.
It’s day 9 and that’s the first actual attack he put in. He’s been pretty smart.I of course meant riding like Pog does in Grand Tours, always on attack. Remco should be mindful it's his first tour and that it's very back-heavy.
I wasn't talking about the rolling terrain, but the gravel.Yes, Remco is very bad on rolling terrain.
Duh I know, but Remco is obviously great at flat and hilly stuff like today. The majoriry of the stage still took place on asphalt. Great attack by Remco, but too bad Visma's sole purpose today was conservatism.I wasn't talking about the rolling terrain, but the gravel.
I agree he has ridden quite smart so far, but today I saw some stupid moves that made me think he is getting overconfident. I don't mind him attacking if he does it at the right times. The one 80k out? Come on.It’s day 9 and that’s the first actual attack he put in. He’s been pretty smart.
Straights were fine, but those corners were abysmal. I’m glad there weren’t any steep downhills with corners like in Strade. He’s too calculated/scared/untechnically in the corners and loses a lot of momentum and energy. He was also just really strong today. It’s day 9 and that’s the first actual attack he put in. He’s been pretty smart.
As far as the questions about him being good on gravel, he either got dramatically better somehow or it was in fact, just the legs that were the problem. The latter seems wildly more likely.
