what is she mad about? Not getting on the podium?
That she couldn't get to her husband to congratulate after his win in the ITT. So, she had to meet him at a parking lot later in the evening.

Seems a bit strange to me. How come that other partners (like Cav's wife) can see their husband right after the finish line and not Oumi? Can't the team help her to get closer, is the TdF organisation too rigid or was it just bad luck?

I do now see that Melanie (Jasper's girlfriend) could also easily approach Jasper. Also, after the ride where he got DQ'ed she could easily go to the bus (and even on the bus - sacrilege). So, I guess Oumi should have been better supported by the team.

Honestly who cares, there are much more interesting things to discuss, although today wasn’t that interesting. Still more than whatever Oumi is doing

I mean Lefevere is probably still butthurt that he had to sponsor a woman's team too, so I am not surprised he's stuck in the past on this subject too.

The attack from Remco looked brutal I think he will attack again tomorrow on Pertus in fact i expect it. He is the best TT in the world/race yet he is the one attacking thats the way you race. Doesnt tomorrows climb suit his characteristic quite alot?
I agree it should suit him. A little longer climbs than LBL, but should still be ok for Remco. Tomorrow is a stage he should try to attack if possible.

steepness, however, may not play into his strength -- love it if he can hang with Pog, but it seems somewhat unlikely.

Hoping and expecting are 2 different things. Of course, he didn't expect Vingegaard to help him secure his podium spot as Vingegaard has his own reasons and tactics to race or not. But, he might have hoped that Vingegaard would collaborate for one or another reason. Maybe to distance Roglic and other contenders. Only, after the gravel stage it is clear that Vingegaard has his eyes 100% on Pogacar. Again, nothing wrong with that. I wouldn't call Remco dumb for that. At least, it made it clear that Vingegaard focuses on Pogacar. Which could be good to know. Others can use this situation. Vingegaard might not react to attacks from other riders (Remco included). Pogacar will have to.
Not sure Pogacar will need to respond to attacks in the big hills so Remco better get down to it when he has an opportunity. I fear that UAE will set tempo in every situation they can to stress all other contenders. Unless Pogi burns up more energy on hero moves it should be clinically precise surgeries.

I think if Remco has any realistic view of his own bike-handling skills, it's unlikely that he attacks 2 cols out with a couple of (sounds like) fairly tricky descents. I'm sure he'll try and respond to any attacks.

But launching it on his own? I think unwise. Keep your powder dry for the Pyrenees Remco, it's a long race.

I agree and as probably mentioned several times - Remco has been pretty transparent he's not gunning for Pogacar. A 2nd/3rd/4th with a white jersey and no injuries would be beyond amazing for QS and Remco.

Just read it here, on where by the way they didn't include Remco, that Pogi can't grow a moustache. So currently we have them at:

Rogla: can grow a moustache
Jonas: can grow half moustache
Pogi: apparently can't grow a moustache

Anybody knows if Remco can or can not grow a moustache? Rather important piece of information on when it comes to racing in November.

Yes, he's been very clear about that. He's also still Remco, still a champion.

"It's going to be pretty tough to beat Tadej, but we always have to push and believe in it. A bad day can happen to anybody," Evenepoel said. "We have to believe in our strength and in our own plans. Day by day, I'll try to finish as close as I can to Tadej, that will take me quite far in this Tour."
Seems to be a BIT of "Maybe I could pull this off" in his head. As there should be. But I agree, he's been quite grounded and clear about his chances. And he seems to be riding in a way which supports those goals. "But we'll see" seems to be hanging out there... :)

I hope Remco and Pogacar try again tomorrow. I wouldn’t call him Mini Pog though. Pogacar never even won a WC
Evenpoel is baby Pog in more ways than one actually.

Hope he continues the trend tomorrow. Stage should suit him and im sure he will.
Most importantly if not too show that he is trending in right direction even if gaps at all will be insignificant on a stage like this. Allez allez

As long as he's still in the hunt for yellow, I don't think he'll try a long range attack. This isn't San Sebastian.

or he's starting to sound like he did at the 2022 Vuelta. Remco is never one to tell the truth

Today stage suit him well, the same as Pogacar.

Maybe first real duel we miss at Lieja and another races for crashes. T

They should try to put time on Vingegaard today, becouse is likely he will put them on the high mountains, considering he wanst so bad at the start.

But Vingegaard is not bad at this stages, and has a good team, despite Van Aert doesnt look great.
