It's some G forces you're not gonna be used to as a pure road rider, so being a trackie should normally help, in combination with it basically being like 450ish 180 degree turns this wya.
I doubt it would be a make or break issue though.
He has won one vuelta and some nice one day events. In what world can he be top 3?
I do not wish to be drawn in to an argument, but I think this is crazy.

The ProCyclingStats alltime ranking is led by Eddy Merckx with 3859.8 points, before Sean Kelly (2171.1 points) and Francesco Moser (2129.2 points). Considering the enormous gap between Merckx and Kelly (3859.8) we can conclude that Merckx is the best rider of all time.

I did not bother to go into the debate, cause i already know it would be like talking to a wall. I'm pretty sure the people were talking against the person on my ignore list. and he's on ignore for a reason. Don't mind adding more if needed. I don't mind constructive critiscm/realism. But people just trying to bring down a cyclist and their fans cause they dislike said rider and their fans are pointless for me to go into a discussion with.

I think just as a way to justify vibes or an inherently subjective topic (GOAT). Trouble is all the points rankings put someone like Roglic way ahead of Nibali and Contador (eg) cause of his one week stage dominance, whereas Contador to me has much the better palmares and Roglic/Nibali is balanced and open to debate according to whatever you think is more important.
In essence, I think it's totally useless.

I think i said i see him somewhere between top 10 and Top 25 when all is said and done. Which was my only contribution to the ranking conversation. (and remco has his work cut out for that to be true)
That does not change the validity of the point i just made.
The discussion isn't rly about where Remco will rank for some people ultimately.
It's about bringing a cyclist down a peg or two.
How something is conveyed matters at times almost as much as what is being conveyed. the motives off some people are clear.

it's the lack of facts that results in me not needing to argue.
I'm willing to argue/change my position based on facts and knowledge.
Not cause someone thinks he knows something better, even when facts and data prove it to be wrong.
Hell i don't even mind debating about subjective matter as long as it's rooted on some facts. Added with your own subjective opinions, as long as the clear motive isn't to bring a rider down.
If you just want to argue, no he's only top 50 cause of this and that when that is how you feel and add solid reasons based on facts. i'm fine with that. Hell, right now i myself would only put him between top 30 and 50.
But when someone has proven to argue not in good faith but in bad faith cause he dislikes something/someone. Then there is no point in listening to that person.
Take peyrote. clearly he does not think the world of remco. probably think him a good rider but not a great rider, not like the true greats. But i don't think he argues in bad faith to bring down a rider and it's fans. He is just stating his opinion (most of the time, we all can get carried away). Some people tho, don't argue in good faith, just come to a part of a forum to argue in bad faith about a rider with it's fans.

I never come in bad faith , I only make my opinion that Remco is a great rider, but not one of the greats. Pogacar is one of the greats. The fans of Remco seem to believe he is on a level of Pogacar and Merckx, that is even the title of this thread, and I disagree that’s all
