Omerta Rolf Claims that he never gave the chicken cortisone, but admit that he used cortisone himself before the worlds in 2001.

Also he says this classic sentence: I don't know why Michael tells all theese details, that by the way, can be very difficult to remember since it is so long time ago

Or as the publisher of the book wrote: "Holdningen synes at være, at man skal fortælle alt, men endelig ikke det hele."

No, I wont. I Know that era of cycling, how it worked, and what people did in that moment doenst afect a lot about what I know about this era.

But anyway now we have just the word of one man, wich is something, of course, but not a prove.

So Rasmussen was telling the truth regarding Hesjedal. If Rasmussen comes out with something else are you going to doubt him again or does it depend on who has 'info' on?

Haha.. Yes that sums it up nicely.

Regarding to chickens confessions, strange that Menchov and Boogerd have not yet been mentioned, since there was strong rumours that he have told about them: http://www.kristeligt-dagblad.dk/ar...llingen-doping-angiver-Denis-Menchov-i-retten

But I guess that chapter have just not been leaked yet, so it will probably come Monday, when the book is released. Or Sunday, where Rasmussen goes on danish television: http://www.dr.dk/Sporten/Cykling/2013/10/30/172805.htm

Admits it here, I believe. Talking about smuggling of synthetic hemoglobin.

It doesn't seem to be the same case. This was prior to when he tried to trick Whitney Richard into carrying American-made human blood substitute in a box of cycling shoes across the Atlantic in 2002.

http://velonews.competitor.com/2007/07/news/ex-cyclist-levels-doping-charges-at-rasmussen_12851

The story told in Politiken is about something he did in 2001: importing oxyglobin (synthetic hemoglobin for dogs) from Puerto Rico.

He says he heard a rumor that the Telekom riders were using synthetic hemoglobin (he says he never has gotten this confirmed), so he set out to get some for himself. The synthetic hemoglobin for humans was only certified in two countries (one of them South Africa), but the vet variety was easier to get hold of, so he tried that in stead. It didn't work though. He describes in detail how he does the transfusion, taking down a painting from the hotel wall to hang the bag of the oxyglobin there, and how he followed the description on the bag to avoid getting a full blown allergic reaction.

Yes, it seems quite likely that it just hasn't been leaked yet. The press doesn't seem to have read the whole book yet? Like you say, it will probably come the next few days.

If you check the facebook comments under the article, you will see the owner of Christina Watches, arguing that since no one is ready to sue the chicken, he must be speaking the truth. Good with friends:) The guys who have been accused, of course still have time to consider their actions, the book is not even published yet.

Wonderboy showed that suing, does not mean that you are wrongly accused. The question is, does not suing mean that the accusations against you is true?

Hmm, Telekom did like to train in South Africa circa that time.

Poor cleaner Jan looking for an even playing field. :(

Btw, looking at this nice group of people I am surprised that it was the chicken who introduced Ryder to the ways of the world

http://cqranking.com/men/asp/gen/team.asp?year=2003&teamcode=RB3

I am glad Ryder didn't waste any breath denying it either. I am disappointed he crossed the line as I am with Seamus who is also a friend. It is very hard to know people you look up to have been cheaters.

Rasmussen is laying waste wherever he goes

I feel for you. Probably vast majority of cycling fans of a certain age, have experienced something like that, myself included. I am sure there is some former chicken fans out there, who feels something similar.

In that perspective it's better to be for example soccer fan. It's all swept under the carpet, and there is a pretty good chance you get to keep your illusions.

Dopers,
Feeling down and out?
Cast out & Ostracized?
In despair & desperate?
Hit with a long ban and donot know what to do?

Donot fear. You can still earn from doping.
Write a tell all book. Earn Royalty from it for your entire life. Ensure it has enough dirt. Throw all your associates under the bus(Donot struggle with ur conscience too much as the same lucrative option will be open to them as well). Ensure that it has enough scandal to become a movie. Get paid for movie rights & become a movie consultant. Transform your life and become a new person.

Warning: May work only with long bans-8 years and above.

While the likes of Rasmussen are far from being knights in shining armour, I find it amusing that so many people believe they're actually worse than the people who also keep making lots of money thanks to their lies and their cheating, with the added bonus that they haven't admitted to anything and keep lying to this day.

No, the tragedy is for the 2% riders who donot dope, left without hope, wont ever win anything, left without contracts, fade away into obscurity, and most importantly whom we will never know:(.

Frans Maassen confirms UCI wanted to speak with Leinders

According to the Danish newspaper BT Frans Maassen has confirmed in Volkskrant that UCI called him to get hold of Geert Leinders during the 2005 TdF.

BT has been in contact with UCI spokesman Louis Chenaille who points out that in 2005 the rule said that for it to be a positive test the reticulocyt level would have to be below 0.2. Rasmussen claims he was at 0.23 and that UCI could throw riders out of the race if their level was below 0.25.

Mario Zorzoli has no comment to it all.

One feels this is where the digging must focus.

It Google translated better than many stories.

Rasmussen claims that Rabobank doctor Geert Leinders, spoke with UCI medical chief, Mario Zorzoli, and then there was no problem anymore. Rasmussen was now 'a protected rider'.

Hmm. There's that "protected rider" thing. Again. For the 100th time.

That makes me wonder why he suddenly was no longer a protected rider in 2007? I mean the Danish Federation tried to test him, although he was officially registered in Monaco and Mexico earlier on!

Will there be also an English version of the book?
