"Uphill sprints" is a broad term. Is it a Worlds Copenhagen or a Mur de Huy type sprint?

It has to be at least as difficult as Copenhagen. 400-500 m of climbing. Mur de Huy is the upper limit, more difficulty and it counts for explosive climbing. I don't know...Mur de Huy really is the crossover point, maybe even a bit too hard for that category.

I think gaviria has the ability to be great. But not until 2017. He's focusing on the track for the olympics

People thought the same of Caleb Ewan when he was a junior and he does not seem to become Australia's new McEwen type of rider. Only time will tell with Gaviria. Maybe he becomes the next Cavendish and maybe the next Andy Fenn...

You are aware that albeit is a perfectly valid English word, aren't you?

The misspelling 'Columbia' isn't particularly German, either, for that matter.

Strange that Bennett and Guardini havnt been mentioned once since this thread has started. Id have both in the top ten. Maybe not the quickest yet, but on a good day very capable of winning most sprints.

Boeckmans took out etixx at le samyn today

But Meersman is not a top-sprinter. He is like a much lighter version of Sagan. Gets over most of the hills and has a decent finish but nothing near the like who are mentioned in this thread. So Boeckmans accomplishment today shouldn't be rated higher than it is.

This is a thread about sprinters not just the best ones
Boeckmans is never going to beat any half decent sprinters. But he did well against meersman today

Kristoff defeats bouhanni in stage 1 of Paris nice. There looks to be a big gulf in talent between kristoff and everybody else at that race

Greipel won with a perfect lead out today. Demare couldn't go around him. Kristoff not in a good position but looked like he was never gaining
