During the broadcast of stage 3 Kirby (I think it was him) said he must have seen someone with an American flag when he saluted the crowd ....fairly certain i didn't miss an American flag. LOLGo POW!

Nobody will say. Part of the meme is an omerta like silence about the origin story. So I have obviously missed something and there is a meme on the forum about Powless being 'nice': where did this come from?

My assumption was that he rode like that the Tour because that team was primed to support Carapaz for GC, and then he crashed out in Stage 1. That left EF with shooting for stages and (I guess) dots?I hope he goes to the Tour with a plan besides riding himself cross-eyed. Maybe lay back and target a few stages.
Just a few days ago I read that he was not going to ride any stage race this spring after Gran Camino and now he is on official T-A startlist.
Only because you looked before it was there
I could see where he might wave at fans he knows to be there, too. Makes sense and nothing nefarious about it.During the broadcast of stage 3 Kirby (I think it was him) said he must have seen someone with an American flag when he saluted the crowd ....fairly certain i didn't miss an American flag.
