Surprising. It was actually palatable.
He cannot help but lie though!! It's a terrible sickness.

Still strangely conflicted and not wanting to get in any legal fights, but lot of confession.

Cadel won clean. wiggins won clean. They didnt go as fast as Lance. Cycling is clean. Lance and people from lances era are tainting a clean sport.

Keenan is lying, his good friend Gerry must tell him the truth

Keenan is looking at Liggett territory and he is only nudging 40

Liggett was at least 65 til he hit the early onset dementia

If I stopped time correctly that were 38 minutes of Lance interview in 90 minutes.
Still good for US TV.

Kids, mum and tears tomorrow then. Those tears are honest I think. There is still some good left in Darth Lance.

Good night.

From the twitterverse

nyvelocity @nyvelocity

There is a mushroom cloud of anger over Manhattan that is in the shape of Betsy Andreu.

And I'd agree with that. Lance made a serious tactical error there.

From eariler:

Race Radio ‏@TheRaceRadio

Reason he cannot confirm hospital room? Because people lied for him about it....under oath

He is truly more loathsome that I imagined. This was an appalling, disgraceful 'performance', where he deliberately avoided so many things he shouldn't have been allowed to skip over. I think he must have told Oprah that he flat out wouldn't respond to certain questions, like about the Hog.

Vile sociopath, bah.:mad:

While he is a vile sociopath, I did not expect him to come clean on anything that could have potential criminal charges:

Ferrari = conspiracy and trafficking.
Andreus = perjury.

Not sure why he lied about the Tour de Swiss. Any thoughts?

USADA needs to say "No" to Lance and "Truth and Reconciliation". To late dude.

Lies and lawyers till the end. He had congressmen doing his dirty work till the bitter end. He attacked everything including trying to get USADAs funding pulled.

Desperate man, Desperate measures.

Lance still has a was to fall. When will he have to liquidate all his assets? When will he file bankruptcy?

1 year and he will be back living with his mom.

All the new lawsuits will bleed him dry.

And rightfully so.

You can't be serious and I don't think you are.

I think to the layman who knows nothing about cycling he's done after that interview. Their going to be asking for his blood in the streets.

Are you serious? Lets look at the facts if yer old enough.........Lance had cancer and was dumped by his shadowy Cofidis 'money lending' paymasters million dollar contract out the window....who wouldn't get even at the Europeans at their own game during that time....?? Iraq War....Cancer Foundation rising etc etc back at the homeland??? Just think about what he said....

Obviously Lance doesnt come out of this looking too good but the longer this goes on the worse the UCI looks. They are just increasingly being exposed as an organization who allowed doping to run rampant but when a rider gets caught it is exclusively their fault, and not a systematic failure to police itself. They make these poor attempts to make it better by passing the titles down to the runners up who were doping themselves. At least with Major League Baseball in the states they dont make any attempt to rectify history in the same way. They accept the steroid era as their own failure to police their sport and see it as part of their history. The best of the era are even likely to be elected to the hall of fame given enough time.

So, let's see, he's lied about his substances, that it wasn't any more of sophisticated program than the rest, while citing the East Germans, that he didn't pressure guys on the team to dope, Dr. Ferrari, the Tour de Swiss positive, what Betsy heard in the hospital room. This is what is meant by Lance coming clean.

whoah! this is so NOT 100%, without a doubt true (yet)...which is preeeee-cisely why i will wait for and sososo anxiously await results of tomorrow night's "b" sample.

:rolleyes:

Betsy's got an excellent way of putting things.
Was even willing to give him a chance, but he bungled things up.
