I was referring to the rumoured arrival of Amador and the Izagirre brothers.

Absolute nonsense. Even if those transfers were true they wouldn't be his support riders but Froome's.

Sky also has access to facilities and trainers/coaches that would improve his TT. The sports Psychologists on Sky’s payroll would also be of help to Pinot one would think.

As I wrote earlier on this thread, he has the potential, he doesn't have to learn anything but he's frail. The Sky training regime and in-team competition would drain him both physically and mentally. Plus he's at the age where he's going to be peaking soon - don't waste several years in service of someone else.

Yeah two years with Steve Peters, Rod Ellingworth & Tim Kerrison should be a great help in those areas.

Sky has proved they can get a TDF winner out of a hat. Perhaps they're thinking in getting Tibopino out of the hat... to warm the hearts of French cycling fans

He will learn to hurt himself more maybe and over train which probably isn't what he needs as he sometimes has some health issues. Tactically Sky are pretty straightforward except for certain pre planned sneak attacks..........I still would prefer to see him change teams and get a fresh approach. The problem is where ? Astana maybe ? Michelton already have three GC riders. BMC might have been good and they might have helped him more with his TT but that's history now.

What I mean is the SKY training methods are supposed to be pretty intense, not for everyone. Landa hated it. Not saying Pinot doesn't know how to suffer.

The Sky talks are non-sense to me. It's Star Wars material, joining the dark side. I like my Tibopino as the Jedi, even though the force is not always with him . He was approached by Sky a few years back, wouldn't move to the Nice-Monaco area. He built his house in his hometown, has some fishing ponds, his family nearby, heck he wouldn't settle just 40 km eastward in CH and save a ton in taxes . Just a simple dude, down to Earth. It may cost him career-wise, but I still believe that he can win a GT if circumstances are right. As long as he gives it all, that's fine by me.

I really hope for a podium at La Vuelta; the Giro ending was brutal. I don't want it to be the highlight (or rather lowlight) of his season.

Yeah I think Pinot, Aru, Porte,Yates and Quintana would all like to have a result at the Vuelta. Otherwise the season looks a bit bare. Could be a fun race.
