True. These canadian races have to compete with the Vuelta though. And Paris - Brussels.... and the Tour of Brittain!!!

With a slightly hilly-but not too hilly Worlds course coming up soon, it makes a good tuneup for the Worlds for those not going to the Vuelta. Remember that there's no Tour of Missouri this year, that used to attract a fair few of these teams who would bring top names anyway, plus you have the other ProTour teams having to bring people because it's ProTour.

An added thing is that it's in French Canada, which means that it can be quite important for some of the French sponsors so the French teams will want a good showing, whereas they don't really show to the American stage races.

blah 5 hours. If i go to bed I almost certainly wont wake up, I do have the day off tomorrow, but staying up this late to watch the finale is a stretch... I'm going to attempt to wake up and fail
