Hello, anybody there?

Sky too eager to do much of the peloton graft.
Looks better now the sun has come out.

Yeah I'm here...
Sky must be convinced they can control the race all the way to the finishing straight.

I think EBH can make it to the finish if they can control it, but I think we'll see too many attacks in the last couple laps for that to happen...

Well, they have a few guys that won't ever make it to the finish of this race like CJ Sutton and Vigano so why not use them while they are still useful. Aslong as they don't send up guys like Cioni and Pauwels while the race is still in the early stages then I don't see a problem with it.

12 Laps, 145km to go...

How can Eurosport cover seemingly minor European races but not a ProTour race just because its not in Europe?

Because 'minor' races in Europe have history and people actually care about them?

Don't get me wrong, I really enjoyed the Montreal race, but just because they made it Pro-Tour doesn't make it bigger than Paris-Brussel, Kuurne-Brussel-Kuurne or Tre Valli Varesine.
Don't look so much at the qualifications of the races, Pro-Tour doesn't mean anything. Some 1.2 races are bigger than Pro-Tour races.

Who do you think Liquigas is looking after? They've been near the front (not actually doing much work) for a while...

So far, this is definitely the less exciting race of the two, both in terms of parcours and racing. May the hostilities commence.

Well what did you expect for the first hundred or so kilometers? Everyone realized early on that the first break of the day was not going to suceed and now they're biding their time...

Well, it's sort of the same scenario as Friday's race, but for some reason, that one was more interesting to watch. In fact, I've stopped watching this one. I'll wait for the final

Uh no, the GP Quebec was just as boring until the final 2 laps.
But maybe you watched another race than me? Or would you care to explain a bit more. Because I'm really not getting it

I've explained it to you in the reaction above your own, Mr. Lack-of-Nuance. But I guess it must have something to do with the surroundings.

Anyway to help you out
1 lap is 19:30 minutes

They havenow 6,5 laps to go, so if you want to be back for the final laps i guess you'd best check back in 1 hour (22:20)

What it sounds to me like what you are saying is that races on the "New Continent" do not matter. I find the smaller races in your benelux area far more interesting than the predictability of most of the classics and Le Tour. Just a comment from one of the provincials of the "New World"

I agree history makes a course more interesting, but those races with history that tend to end up in bunchsprints are totally not interesting like Paris - Brussel. Allthough they spiced up the last 15 km so it was kinda fun to watch.

Anyways this race doesn't have history, but the circuit looks good and the lineup is also good. So to me it's a mustsee despite there is no history, maybe it's the start of a nice history ;)
