Little Red Hen (perhaps?)

A hen living on a farm finds some wheat and decides to make bread (Panne) with it. She asks the other farmyard animals to help her plant it, but they refuse. The hen then harvests and mills the wheat into flour before baking it into bread; at each stage she again asks the animals for help, but they still refuse. Finally, with her task complete, the hen asks who will help her eat the bread. This time the animals eagerly accept, but the hen refuses, stating that no one helped her with her work and decides to eat the bread herself.

I regret to inform the forum and the world that this year I will not be doing the Liege thread. Several factors affected my reasoned decision. Mvdp is not riding and I am incapable of taking life, and in particular, cycling seriously. Other factors of an especially heinous nature cannot be disclosed at this stage.
It's been a difficult journey for all of us and I don't want there to be any hard feelings while we watch the shadows cross the ceiling. Enjoy the Ardennes, while we can.

Does anyone plan to create a thread for all members to add any photos they may want to share that they've taken of various pro-cyclists, taken at different races, cycling events, etc? I've been to a few races in France, Italy and here in the UK and have taken lots of pics of all my favourite riders that I'm happy to share with people and am happy to start a thread especially for posting photos, if that's ok with everyone?

It looks like there were annual threads 20nn in pictures (eg 2013), which were done as a retrospective at the end of the season, but that custom seems to have died out a long time ago, and was media photos. I don't see any previous threads of our own photos, so if anyone wants to start one, knock yourself out. (Metaphorically: I am not insisting on rending oneself unconscious as a sanction for having such an idea)

But don't we have one for cycling pictures in general? Not necessarily ones we made ourselves? I would just put them in that thread instead of creating another one

Well I'm not sure which of these threads I'm supposed to post in. One hasn't been posted in for a decade, another has only general photography subjects, not pics of cyclists and the other is meant to be for "great" photography, more professional ones. None of this applies to my photos. They aren't great or professional, they're just pics I've taken of different riders I've met or seen at various races/events, with my cheap old digicam or my cheap phone. I'm no photographer.
