Hope this ride today will get Fabbro another contract at Bora. Would be cool to see two Friuli prospects together next year if Aleotti does indeed get confirmed. The win today would obviously made his year so far but he was very solid all year. Places at Bora are getting limited though.

What does that ITT on Stage 8 look like? Does Thomas have a chance to win the overall?

Last year, Roglic made 26 seconds on A.Yates to steal the overall by 0.4 seconds - Simon is a better ITTer than Adam while Thomas is around the same level as Roglic - It's unlikely Thomas can get the win, though he's a chance to grab second.

It's the usual 10km completely flat TT. Thomas in his best shape might stand a chance but I'm not sure he is there yet.
4s per km is a lot to make up.

Adam finished 39s behind Campanaerts last year, but 26s behind Roglic. Simon would settle for a repeat performance.

Maybe their mentor De Marchi also ends up at Bora...
