What we do know for sure is that Pogacar in his last TT lost as much time on Ganna in 13 km as van Aert did in his last TT in 32km. What we also know for sure is that Pogacar in his last TT got beaten by Bjerg, while van Aert took 1min30 on Bjerg in his last TT.
sure, with some gymnastic we can make Wva look better, but I prefer to look at last man VS man, since the conditions were same for both, it kind of reminds me when Pog beat Rogla in Slovenian TT, nobody believed in him in tour despite that.

It's just not right to see Tibopino as lanterne rouge today. Hope he doesn't push too hard.

Ewan is the least likely looking cyclist in the peloton. He's obviously a great bunch sprinter but my housecat has longer legs.

Not only was it a completely different type of TT, clearly more suited for GC-riders, but the conditions were everything but the same.

Oh no, poor WVA lost time cause of bad conditions, come on man :)
He lost a hell lot of time on the flat, so until he proves othervise I can not see him gaining time. but it doesnt really mater what we think we will soon find out.

it’s kind of remarkable that he gets to use his great sprint weapon as often as he does. He’s pretty far removed from the typical range of pro cyclist physiologies. Everyone else as diminutive and light as he is tends to be an excellent climber but he’s bad at that too. I suspect he trains like a demon and has great capacity to suffer.

Okay, I totally agree. The guy hasn't proven anything on the flat in his career yet.

For Milano-Sanremo:
1.Sagan
2.Ewan
:)

Is that the ranking of the gruppetto?

Bryan Coquard is lighter than Ewan, but he's still a very bad climber.

So far in any race where Alaphilippe, van der Poel and van Aert all started, one of those 3 won. This might change someday this week :D

Coquard is actually a pretty decent climber though, and also way better in the (cobbled) classics

He isn't when it comes to actual mountains. Maybe he underpeformed a bit during the Tour last year, but he only finished it because Debusschere sacrificed himself on the Col de la Loze stage.

Carlton Kirby still with hyperbole stuff...his head was not close to touching whatever...it was not that big of a stretch.
