He said it several times in the past, he said it pre-race, and yet people still think he has GC ambitions. The guy is very clear about what he wants and he sticks to his guns. Love that about him.

I’m cheering for Wout today regardless. CX power baby.

And I don't think it requires unreasonable restraint to freaking wait entering the forum until you're caught up!
I mean, I would never dream of going into the forum if I was planning on catching a race later.

So I have just watch the latter part of today's Paris Nice stage without flipping over to the TA coverage, but looked at what people were saying in the PN thread as part of my enjoyment of that. Are you really saying that that is unreasonable behaviour, or that I should not be able to do so without expecting my enjoyment of TA to be spoiled?

I mean, in an ideal world, sure, we could all be more careful, but are we now going to start banning people who haven't read this particular discussion if they were to mistake one thread for the other or allude to something happening in a different race? Which would happen all the time, and is exactly why I just choose not to enter the forum in such a case...
Don't be silly. Where has anybody suggested a ban? All that is being asked is basic courtesy. If people abide by it, hopefully you will feel able to enter the forum (while sensibly staying away from the thread of the race you are postponing watching) is such a situation. The behaviour that we are trying to remind people of will therefore be of help to you.
