You gotta be a fan of nibali if you think he'll win tomorrow. No way, when has he ever done that against the top tier guys?

It's pretty even in the poll: froome vs Contador And purito being the 3th dog. Yeah, it'll all depend if Contador has the punch to stay away.

I know he can ride away from them but staying is something else. I think he can, let's see.

most likely a huge battle and we won't see it(live)
is sporza doing it?or anyone else beside rai?

Sporza livestreams it but with no commentary, at least in the livestream/

Since they'll do paris-nice prob live and then show T-A on tv.

Yeah i know :eek::eek::eek::eek:

The only guy that can match J-Rod in a MTF sprint is Valverde and he is likely training somewhere with Wiggins on Tenerife.

Who says it'll be a sprint?

The fact that he's still close on GC so they can't let him slip away?

They know he'll lose time in the TT, they can allow him to take some time. But why would he slip away? To win, he just has to follow and put on his turbo 500m from the finish.

To think that people truly believe that Cobo will be at the finish with the favourites is laughable. Rodriguez ftw.

Cobo is the single rider who has beaten SKY tactics. And is an adorable character:p

Didn't the Sky tacticians beat themselves back in 2011? By not backing Froome? Froome took himself out at Manzaneda, and Wiggo failed on the Angliru. Cobo was lucky Sky were still in their trial & error period.

I see that Evans is seriously underrated here.
I agree that Contador, Froome and Rodriguez will probably finish in front of him tomorrow, but they won't drop him along the way, I think.
Evans, Contador and Froome will fight for the overall.

What? Stage after stage in the Vuelta showed example after example of leading riders beating the Sky train. In fact, on Fuente De, the Sky train was organized and chasing as third group on the road, way behind.

If Cobo counts in the 2011 Vuelta, why not the Spanish Armada in 2012?

Yeah, what has he done since or in recent times? Yeah, very little.

Exactly. And this is coming from someone who has been a Cobo fan for years. You just can't ever count on him being in great form; you just have to be pleasantly surprised when he is.:p

he was injured mostly and at the worst possible times

So what has he done recently, as in this year, that tells us he will be a threat in this race. Mark my words Cobo will end up a anonymous Vuelta winner who didn't ever end up doing much else in the rest of his career. (I would be happy if proven wrong though )

By the way, do you have a link to any articles from 2012 that detail any kind of injuries? Because I can't find anything.
