Ignatiev is up 20 seconds, there's a breakaway group with some good riders (who'd be gearing up for MSR) and Liquigas pulling hard on the peleton to put pressure on the GC riders to try bump Nibali up the GC and maybe help out Bennati.

i thought he might try something today, he won't go down with a fight (IMO he has been the best rider at T-A, strongest in the last two stages, and missed the right move on stage 4.

Indeed. Anyone know what Scarponi was so annoyed about at the finish? He was with Garzelli, then they showed Ignatiev for a while, and when they cut back, Scarponi was suddenly a bit further behind Garzelli, overtaken by evans, and visibly upset about something?
