Reminds me of an oldie but goodie from Steve Tilford (RIP): "Ever since I heard the guy’s name, Tom Danielson, it has been associated with doping. From square one."
I listened to the podcast of him with Gaimon. He said some ridiculous things:
- I'd be better if I just trained right rather than doped
- When doping you can't train right as you need to do it in hiding
- You can't do it for years as it's impossible to keep up the facade (ignoring Lance who did it for years as did others)
It was supposedly not worth it. He would be better without. Ignoring all times improved at introduction of EPO.
