Tom 'Pidders' Pidcock

The interview with Eurosport a few days earlier was interesting. At first Pidcock is much more at ease and happy. Second he said that he want to try for GC to learn towards big(ger) objectives in the future. It reminded me of the 2024 Tour GC discussion between TP and Ineos. He (still) thinks of himself as a GC rider. I'm not.

But hey, even G won the Tour and he was a classics contender.
But Thomas had a great engine. Pidcock doesn't have.

Maybe it's as good as he gets.
But his preparation was not great, early start needed to obtain results, riding classics and
no altitude training.
But hey, he delivered 36.5 to the Giro which was perhaps not even a dream just over six months ago.
From what I'm hearing their showing during this Giro pretty much guarantees that they are not green card invited anymore anywhere anytime in the future :D

It's a provisional start list so was probably done in prep of not getting to the giro. I doubt he'll go. But he is doing MTB, Andorra World Cup and Euros. Hope he does the road nats as well.

Andorra is July 13th and mtb Euros is July 27th

if he rides TdSuisse (only reason is Q36.5 being a Swiss team and they want him there) he'd miss the Val di Sole mtb world cup June 22nd
