Kwiato will be the leader of the Polish team.

However, he says that it's all more about a good communication during the race and their main goal is to get to the Mikuni together with Majka and then try to play something out. They also said that Kwiato had rode the whole Tour with the OG in his mind, doing everything to be in the best possible shape for the Olympics.

For some reason this year Spain decided to go with a white shirt with the flag stripes and black shorts instead of the yellow and red kit that is extremely easy to recognize in the peloton.

carapaz at 51 odds is just ridiculous, easily the most value out of all the competitors, I wouldnt be surprised if Pogacar and Carapaz will lit up the final climb, and end up together like some stages in the tdf.
ok boys!!!!

Should Slovenia consider starting Pogacar in the ITT (if that is even possible)?
His 2nd ITT was worse than Roglic' 1st one checkmate atheists gg no re.

In all seriousness, I doubt it's possible, and then I don't think it matters that much I don't think either is gonna win a medal.

Can someone explain to me why Stefan Kung is at 40/1 for the slightly punchy ITT that he seems to specialise in?

Makes for quite an attractive each-way bet unless I'm missing something?

Cause it's actually a pretty hard ITT and Kung even on flat ITTs always runs into someone better

There are 14km at 4% or more of which there are 7km at 6% according to the profile.
Küng has probably about 1% chance to win this. I pulled that number out of my ass, but it doesn't really matter, there is no way he is winning this unless Van Aert, Dennis, Ganna, Evenepoel, Roglic and Dumoulin all crash out. I can't see a scenario where he beats all of them. Maybe one or two, but even getting on the podium seems out of his league.

For me it looks like the TT will be Wout vs Dennis. It's a bit hilly for Ganna, he has underperformed at the Italian NC, has a history of underperforming in the heat and has done lots of Track specific training. At the Giro he was also 3kgs heavier than last year.
I can see him getting a medal, but I doubt that he'll be fighting for Gold.

Küng also dislikes the heat, during the Tour de France the Swiss commentators have already said that they are hoping for a rainy day, that would really increase his chances.
No idea what to expect from Dumoulin in this one.

Dumoulin basically said he's had good days in training unlike today, and you only know until you race that you're super. Probably lacked racing for the RR. I think on a good day maybe like 5th and I honestly see 3rd as an absolute ceiling, unless Ganna *** the bed.

I wonder how well adjusted Ganna is tbh with ITT traininng vs track, etc

I don't see Ganna fighting for Gold. 3rd place yes, but I have a hard time seeing him win on this route with this kind of prep. I expect Dennis to appear out of nowhere like a stealth bomber, him vs Wout will be the fight for Gold, imo.
