The Danish rider was probably confused (and full of adrenaline), thinking it was team GB's 4th (dropped) rider in the wrong place.

Fair point. Hadn't considered that. Still entirely the Danes fault though.
If GB did go through in a technicality it should just be Ganna for Italy to make it interesting.
