Top 10 active cyclists

Ok, so these posts in another thread got me thinking. Who do you see as the top 10 currently active cyclists? Rank them from 10 to 1 preferably.

there can only be so many top class riders in the world. we can't have 50 top riders from 50 different countries.

cycling has like 4 or 5 absolute world class riders, contador, cancellara, gilbert, cavendish and they are all from different countries

valverde is from spain too

but he's not worldclass, like the others I named

that was my point. That he is worldclass

if Gilbert is there, he should be there.

add evans and boonen

no fvcking way is Evans at the level of Boonen, Contador, Gilbert, Canc or Cav!

boonen is not anywhere near the level of cancellara

you don't believe that Boonen is a world class cyclist?_?

Yeah he is totally useless! And no results this spring either!

That's a tough one. I mean 1-2-3 is doable. Probably something like

Contador-Gilbert-Boonen for me. Then it gets tougher. But how do you rate someone 8 vs 9 for example?

Hmm... difficult. I'll have to think about that. Obviously Alberto, Cav, Cance, Gilbert and Boonen are up there...

I like to see Alberto Cav and Cance as the top three just because of their last names.

tbh from 6th to 10th i wouldn't be bothered at all by any rearrange of the order. i am also basing my rank on riders more recent results and on what they can still achieve, that's why some1 like oscarito isn't on the list. otherwise he would be on the top 5 hands down.
