It doesn't say that. Just that it's in the opposite direction of the first one.

"The next day will suit the German far less, however, as it will head in the opposite direction from the Mulhouse start, and finish at the top of La Planche des Belles Filles"

This back to back ITT rumor better not be true, that would be so awful.

The 50km ITT to "honor" Indurain is more than enough.

Of course, but you said it was 70 km. It doesn't say that.

That's a reference to the previous stage... "the opposite direction from the Mulhouse start"

No info as of yet on where the start of the La Planche TT is.

English may be my second language, but it sure reads like a reference to the second TT to me.

I've seen those Freiburg-Mulhouse TT talks

Don't buy it personally especially considering the current low profile of cycling in Germany and how we've got the Col de Firstplan confirmed for a stage and that won't be on the Tomblaine-Gerardmer stage and it'd be a strange direction to take for the Mulhouse - Planche des Belle Filles stage. We'll see.

That back to back TT rumour from La Depeche is plain bull IMO and subsequently really devalues the Freiburg-Mulhouse TT rumour.

The start of the Chamrousse is probably not Saint Etienne anymore but rather the town of Saint Galmier some 20 km north of Saint Etienne (much like in 1999). As per velowire.

The shortest distance between Saint Galmier and Chamrousse is 182km. Again, the dreaded U-word looms over that stage more than ever.

Saint Gaudens is now being thrown into the hat as starting stage for the Pla-d'Adet stage, too.

and he will have only 6 minutes on him by then...

really, i think nairito will ride il giro

I don't think he will. He will have the same problem. Long TT and Richie Porte instead of Froome. Giro probably still would be the better race but when do riders who finish second in the Tour not ride the race the following year. I just don't see him riding the Giro. Maybe in the future.

Porte would lose minutes to Nairo on Zoncolan alone. But i agree, Nairo will ride the Tour.
