True. Tour of Belgium has to combine Flanders and Ardennes racing.
Maybe a finish around Geraardsbergen, with the Muur in the final, next year?
(Or a prologue on the muur? :p)

How about an opening day TT around the Flanders finishing circuit over Oude Kwaremont and Paterberg :D

The cobbled stage should take advantage of Mont Saint-Laurent in Saint-Sauveur - it's only just south of Ronse so can easily be connected to Oude Kwaremont, Mont de l'Enclus etc, but it's in Wallonie, so doesn't get used much in the cobbled classics.

OH, God. I don't know whats more fun to watch. Epic mountains in Giro or Danilo Napolitano on a timetrial bike.. Decisions decisions

I feel sorry for Westra. This might be a freaking mightmare for him, although this he got beat by big margin it still must hurt.

Gilbert's form must not be too bad if he got top 20 for a TT which did not suit him. At least he has been working on his form the past month. Gilbert should be up there for the the stage win tomorrow.
Any chances Tony will lose big chunks of time??
Not likely thought he looks great just great.

Those are pretty big gaps for a stage 4 20km TT after 3 flat stages.

Yeah, when I made my post the live ticker added another minute to Westra's gap hence me being so surprised.

Why aren't Bavariantroller and Airhead all over this thread?
Unless they have built a Belgian Mortirolo recently, I'd say
Tony "I can climb, honest" Martin has it in le sac.

Maybe if Paris-Nice Westra, Barredo, Spilak, Gilbert, Betancur etc. all go crazy in the hills, maybe, just maybe, they can break Martin and Westra can win :D

Nahhh, just wishful thinking, Tony's probably got this one......
