That seems like a pretty minor fail to me, 1 out of 4 guys being wrong, another guessing right but having 2 guesses. Certainly more memory retention than I'd normally give athletes credit for...

IT is flat out ridiclous that they don't know these things sorry.
I ve lost any respect for them.
Sadly it somehow just shows what the haters always say. Cyclists are the biggest retards among any sportsmen:eek::eek:

It's essential. Are you the new supervisor here? ;)

I'm kind of surprised that they didn't know that but I suppose if you asked track sprinters about Carl Lewis and Ben Johnson today, they would not know much either. Sadly history seems to be coming less and less relevant to many people.

Well our boys dont really know much about Rasmussen Vino and Lance. " it was 15 years ago". Bolt would probably say that Lewis and Johnson competed in the original olympic games.

Amazing when you consider that with "Google and Wikipedia" around, most general answers can be available in a second, even while crossing the street. Problably most of the fans should stop chewing gum so they have enough intellect to inquire about history

I wonder what stage will ASO pick to preview in Criterium du Dauphine.
This year it was stage to Rumilly with Le Grand Colombier and Col de Richemond. In 2011 was the itt in Grenoble.
I don't think it will be the Alpe d' Huez stage.
One of the other three Alpine stages (including the second itt) is more likely.
The itt should attract stronger field than presentation of Semnoz.
There's a place for both, in my opinion.

Using the Dauphine as a preview for a Tour stage sucks IMO. Can't we go back to when it was a race in it's own right rather than a tame route with a couple of recces for the Tour?

Poor Cavendish.

"Guardini may forgo the corsa rosa next season. With his fellow new arrival Vincenzo Nibali targeting Giro victory, Guardini could instead line up at the Tour de France for the first time, with designs on the race’s opening yellow jersey in Corsica."

Too many proper races on that schedule. Glad I left him out of my CQ team now if he's not going to be riding enough small ****ty races ;)

Should be pretty easy to hurt Guardini before the finish, the Sky train in the Giro was never fast enough.

In Astana Guardini will just become better and better, belive you me. Cav and Greipel will soon just see Guardinis back when the cross the finishing line ;)

Hey.

Does anybody know when they will make the rest - or just some more of them - of the stage profiles public? Because it's quite difficult to determine the hardness of the route without knowing how tough the hilly stages are and how many of them there are.

They usually do so in early June, if I recall correctly.
