It is entirely fair. The video is assembled according to current Tour hierarchy. First Andy, than Sky boys and then Evans :p

Right, the sky boys, Tommy Voeckler, Evans heck even Andy.. who's missing  ASO couldn't make it more clear  We. Don't. Care. About. You.

You're being unfair Flo. Contador was called on the podium a few months ago and he even was in one of the clips in the presentation.

Yeah, i think it was far more important that The Great One got into that "what does the Tour mean to you" clip at the presentation.

Especially the epic intro they gave to him. Everyone else was just there from the start answering questions.

Then half way in, as everyone has assumed they left Contador out on purpose - bang bang, welcome to the party.

Isn't it bizarre that Sir Wiggo is not the 1st rider to be shown? Instead Cavendish???? So what does it say, TdF is about sprinters? So supposedly the 2 main contenders (which I disagree) Contador and Froome are completely ignored from the trailer...

Actually Sir Wiggo is there for just 1/1000 of second. :D

He's won 23 stages, plus multiple times on champs elysees. A lot of people will closely associate him with the Tour, so it makes sense that they would use him multiple times. But yeah, they should have added a couple more shots of the guys who will be contending this year.

But hey, it's only a promo vid, who really cares about who they choose to put in it?

Yea, I don't think it is that important who they put in the video.

I didn't found it bizarre that Cavendish was the first one shown before Wiggo, doesn't really mean anything imo. But for me personally is not whether Contador or Froome weren't not shown as contenders but more on the history aspect of the race (since he's still a double TDF winner) and going back to your initial question of "made sure only clean riders are featured?" then yes, I say that's what they were going for. And Wiggins was shown three times but ironic that Andy was shown after it said 'fighting spirit' ;)

Yes, I know it's only a video which should hold any value whatsoever but still it's pretty evident what they were going for -at least to us Contador fans it is - nevertheless as you guys say, it's just a video :)

Nothing is random here, and I don't buy that BS that is nothing to read about the OFFICIAL TdF trailer. Those guys not being shown means something, that's what I want to know.

PS: Can you tell me the exact added-up time (in milliseconds) for Sir Wiggo's cameo appearance? :D

No he wasn't.

Wait, he wasn't? I was pretty certain he was

Anyway i didn't even expect that from ASO. I still remember what the french did to him in the presentation of 2011.

He still gave them a great race, and he will do it again

Did you even expect for Contador to be in the clip? Last year it was way worse

Just being curious btw. Since when did you come up with that name?
