At what point do Cannondale give Sagan a rest and go with Viviani ? Green jersey done and dusted as long as he makes it to Paris in one piece
You seriously think he'd ever accept that with the first win still elusive?

If he's smart he'll realize that the more he tries every single stage the less likely he is to win simply because of fatigue. He's always racing against fresher riders whether it be in a bunch sprint or in a harder finish. He was in the break again yesterday - he *should* be exhausted. He be better off in my view doing nothing till next Friday and going all in for that one. Viviani could be pretty competitive. Look at the way Majka is going now against more tired riders having soft-pedalled the first 10 days

Kittel would be too tired cruising over the Alps therefore the Norwegian beast will take it.

Sagan 2nd, thats for sure :D

Agree that Kittel is too tired but Kristoff has lost his main lead out man.

Voted for Griepel but did he injur himself in that fall on Thursday?

I definitely agree he would be smart to pace himself. I just don't think there's any chance in hell he will do unless he gets the win. ;)

Also, I can't imagine yesterday took more out of him than any of the sprinters. He was in the break, but the tempo was very slow at the beginning and as soon as he rolled over the intermediate sprint line, he let the breakaway go and just strolled through the rest of it.

Kittel looked pretty confident before the race and said he had a good day yesterday. We'll see then.

Belgian commentators saying there's a strong wind. Apparently they just saw a tent blown away by the wind. :D

The Sporza ticker said "Het is nu zo hard aan het waaien dat ons tentje in de technische zone weggeblazen is"

Maybe they think the break is pointless considering the wind and therefore their best chances lie in causing splits in the peloton?

The break is pointless because everyone think it is. If 10-20 riders joined the break because they thought it would stick, it most likely would.
