I quite like Froome as a rider (I don't have a GC guy I route for atm) but I still think you should not (whoever you are) do what he did. Itis only a second I know, but etiquette

Quintana will cause Froome problems in the Alps, enough to win I don't know but he is looking good to get some time back and he looks to be getting stronger as he race continues. Froome will need to be at his best for all of the Alps otherwise he will lose this tour.

Yes could get interesting

agreed. Did you see in some point.. froome was chasing quintana .. he was standing... swaying his bike was violently left and right. Looks like Quintana hype lives up. Alps will be interesting. Dunno if he can take back time, but at least we'll see the fight. And I think Contador is done, from the look of it. He hang dearly on the thin hair now.

Missed that, the coverage was all over the shop. Froome will go into yoyo mode I imagine if Quintana vanishes up the mountain. At least it won't be a procession.

That has made Cummings' career, he won't get a chance again, the other two will win many races, but Cummings takes the one chance he has, great story

Delighted for him, Steve deserved that for a career that should have had a few more days like this I think.

Not to mention not many people had an issue when Contador was 'wheelsucking' Froome in the Vuelta last year before attacking in the final km to show him up and take the stage. Oh wait no, that was just great tactics

I had a problem with it. But I totally agree- a lot of people in this forum worship Contador/despise Froome

Go back to that thread. Many people including me thought that wasn't necessary by Contador. Your whole accusaton is already flawed, furthermore it can't be compared regardless since in the vuelta it was for the stage then again gc was already decided, you never know what happens with a week racing left.

Inform yourself before trying to look a smartass

Whata colossal idiot this valverde is!!!! He is in such good form. And he peels away and is playing games with AC. He should have just pulled Nairo away from Froome. I think combined they could easily have done it. Such a selfish moron he is. No wonder he is never a serious threat to win GTs.

One off?? Don't think so. Stephen has already won a stage of the Vuellta. At 29 he has plenty of time to pinch more stages in break situations.

An unforgettable, ignominious sprint attack for one second by Richard Froome after not working with Nairo to the line. Utterly classless. What a jerk.

>>>If Froome has a mechanical in Yellow, Nairo now has license to attack.

Lol you missed TDF stage 20 in 2013,where Quintana wheel sucked J.Rod and Froome just to sprint away in last part.

Froome is afraid of the Alps and Quintana is deft coming good, I can't see him not winning a stage or two next week. Thomas is starting to tire, dono how much help he'll be at the business end next week, Porte though should be still fresh.

Maybe it tells us Froome is worried and he is trying to take every bit of time he can so that he does not lose in the Alps.
Quintana was watching Froome, he knew exactly what was going to happen but he is such a light weight rider he was never going to match Froome in a sprint like that.

I don't think Froome is worried. He'll match Quintana in the Alps, at the very least.
