Yeah I don't think Froome has poor descending skills at all, but I do think he doesn't like to take risks at descents, contrary to Contador, who doesn't have extraordinary descending skills at all I think, but who doesn't mind going full into a descent at all when necessary, If Bertie can't drop Froome in the descent at least he try to make Froomey feel uncomfortable for the first time this TDF. :p

Also, Quintana's descending skills are a mystery to me. I used to think he was a good descender because he did a great descent of the Col de Joux Plane in that Dauphine stage he won, but after that he hasn't really shown anything more than normal on descents I'm afraid......

Nibali is the only one who can really make a difference on a descent I think, of the current GC riders. Maybe Contador can do something by being fearless/reckless........
Yeah, Contador isn't a great bike handler and doesn't have great descending skills (although I think he's better than Froome), he just doesn't give a *** and flies down those descents :p

How does Sagan measure up to the legendary bike handlers and descenders? Seems very high level to me. Not sure there is a rider in the current peloton who handles the bike better.

Phil said that the people who he has spoken to in the peleton said Sagan is the best bike handler in the world and one of the best ever (although I have no idea who the best ever are)

Farrar. He's riding style is very straighforward, gloriously avoids crashes he causes.

The peloton hoping the break are finished the stage by the time they start the final climb, just so we can see them both finish, how nice

It's a no contest for me, he's the best atm.

Martinello always says Cipo was the best descender he has ever witnessed.

Imagine how quickly Sagan could descend in animal print kit!
