Froome should be able to attack uphill, distance the others, and descend at his own pace. Actually that should be his plan A, just to be extra safe, as he is head and shoulders above the rest.

He seemed ok on the same descent two years ago - was Contador that was wobbly.

It's pretty obvious it's going all the way. I just wonder how did sagan manage to get in to the break with 11 idiots who are driving him to the stage win. What's the point to be in the break if you max achievement is 2nd place. Oh, I forgot they are losers. :(

Looks like the stage has 23 potential winners.

They may think they are driving him only to 2nd place.

5 minutes on the peloton for 12 with another 12 one minute behind...this could go all the way,its too big to control

He'll probably find a way to lose out to Marco Haller, or - if the second group rejoins - Matteo Trentin. It is Peter 'Perennial Second' Sagan after all.

I can't even imagine that kind of scenario where sagan will not win with these guys. Geschke who is C class rider is best of the rest. So...

Sagan in the breakaway for third consecutive day... what a beast. But this is most likely the last day he has any chance to grab a stage in this Tour.
Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne

Too hard for him, that one is for J.Rod.
I don't think he'll be in the break that day. The day after is better for him.

Sax would beat him anyway...

Risky business that stage, one of the GC guys might target it.

Kennaugh abandons! Dawg loses one of his puppies.
Whats wrong with him? Haven't heard of him being sick/injured.

Not sure but he's really struggled the last couple of days, wouldn't suprise me if he has some sort of virus.

I saw him dropped way early yesterday and commented that he really hasn't been looking good.

I ma not suprised. He must have a bug of some sort.

Pete must be ill because he has not been as useful in this tour as we thought he might me (especially when comparing it to his performance in the 2013 tour)

there are multiple teams with 2 or 3 riders and you cant pull back every attack by yourself

Tactics is one thing and other one is that you have to execute what you have planned.

By the way can anybody remember what was the race and stage where it was one Lampre guy vs. 3-5 guys from same smaller Italian team in the last kilometres? And Lampre guy destroyed them.

Sags! 3rd break in a row, what a monster. I am not the first person to say that he has been the most incredible rider of this year's TdF so far.

He knows that this is his last chance to win a stage. And it is a pretty good chance. He already showed that he can survive this kind of climbs. Even if he loses 30-50 seconds on Manse, he is arguably the best descender in the world.

I actually wanted to put some money on him, but bwin didn't even let people to bet on him.
