Also, Movistar's risk-weighted priorities clearly: Podium>Stage>Jaune

It's why In part it's going to assist Sky, Nibali senses a podium which in some respects restricts Valverde's threat. So many variables in this race is mind-boggling.

So Quintana has no balls. It's confirmed.
Or is it because DS has him on a leash... simply to protect Valverde as well.

So dissapointing that they don't even try. Ridiculous.
Very tame so far. Everybody waiting for an D'Huez explosion.
The valley looks discouraging with these numbers.
I'm not sure they've had an opportunity to step up at the front, yet.

Reports that spectators near Alpe d'Huez already being very aggressive towards Team Sky, trying to board their support vehicle #TDF2015
You have to find a way to bring all the bottles and sausages to the corner.
It's going to be anarchy.

Got a bad feeling its gonna descend into pure farce - or rather ascend lol

Sky found an ally in AG2R? Froome protecting Yellow and Bardet protecting the KOM Jersey. Froome may have given a nod to Bardet that he won't challenge him for the KOM Competition unless his GC contenders tip his hand.

This is absolutely what is happening. Shrewd/smart move on the part of Sky.

That must be a bit of a shame for Froome - he could be the first since Merckx to get both polka dot and yellow in the same Tour.

Disgusting behaviour, Sky have not been protected enough. That also goes for other others, security needs to be more visible and arrests made to help curb this horrible element to the sport.

Porte, Poels, Thomas, Konig still there. Pointless excercise if you don't burn them first.

ESPN LatAm color guy isn't very sharp, but made the point five minutes ago that if Quintana had to attack pretty much right then to have a shot a yellow. Truth in journalism: we're watching a race for the stage/KOM jersey/podium.

How is ag2r an ally to Sky?

Driving the pace to discourage attacks from other top GC guys while allowing Sky to not have to burn matches on the CdF.
