It's why In part it's going to assist Sky, Nibali senses a podium which in some respects restricts Valverde's threat.So many variables in this race is mind-boggling.

Peloton are about to hit the climb proper. No more downhill segments. But the gradients will only really bite in the last 5km of the climb.

Disgusting behaviour, Sky have not been protected enough. That also goes for other others, security needs to be more visible and arrests made to help curb this horrible element to the sport.

Porte, Poels, Thomas, Konig still there. Pointless excercise if you don't burn them first.

ESPN LatAm color guy isn't very sharp, but made the point five minutes ago that if Quintana had to attack pretty much right then to have a shot a yellow. Truth in journalism: we're watching a race for the stage/KOM jersey/podium.
