I like this.
They'll have to work in the valley if they want to keep Froome isolated.

Please Valverde, why do you have a bad day exactly today

He isn't having one. Simply he can't set pace by himself for long, he's a punchy kind of guy. That's why attacking is always stupid with his characteristics....unless for tactical reasons like today

Nibali should bridge on top and go with movistar

Well he's trying to now, Froome in his wheel, and he's forcing Froome to take over the lead.

Everyone is isolated except for Quintana, he was in a difficult situation though. He was clearly better than what he showed, but there was no point in going harder as he'd lose Valverde.

All in all, after only 20 days we finally have real racing.

This is carnage!

Froome and Nibs almost caught the Movi pair. Valverde started to crack which has cost Nairo

Damn, all back together. I hope some1 puts pressure on the descent, attacks on the flat part etc.

The only chance of kicking Froome off his perch now is keep him under pressure until the Alpe so he doesn't feed at all

Froome showing everyone who's boss. He's descending great this TDF. He might look like a praying mantis on the bike, but a bad handler? Can't really agree. So they hit the bottom of Huez together, Froome will probably get Porte back.
