IMO, Mark Cavendish has quite the world class Palmares....Kittel, hmmmm, not so much.
Good luck to him though....with such a reduced field, he should take his chances, but if takes the "Green" we're gonna have to put a wee asterisk next to it :)

If Kittel wins green in Paris then he deserves it and is a worthy winner.

Kittel is a high-speed sprinter that continues the legacy of Petacchi and Cipollini. I don't see where the best sprinter of the world wouldn't be a worthy winner of the green jersey, just because Sagan turned it into the Intergiro classification of the Tour. It should be won by the fastest sprinter anyway.
Well, neither Cipo nor Petacchi won the green jersey, so only natural that Kittel shouldn't either.

Petacchi won in 2010

Why any team but Quick Step would work, I could never understand.

All the sprinters teams should just put a guy in the break.

Kittel just way too fast. How anyone can say he doesn't deserve the green jersey here is absurd; he could easily end up with 7 or 8 wins.

lol

But that wasn't when he was the fastest sprinter in the race ;)

The anti-sagan route delivers again! But seriously though great sprint, not even remotely close.

Also how does Greipel always go from a great position to like 10th BEFORE the sprint even starts! He comes round the corner in 4th and Kittlel is in about 12th, but he always gets boxed.

Kittel could win 6/7 stages here, way superior in the sprints and the green jersey is almost guaranteed as well. Five hours of nothing happening for a predictable outcome. Tomorrow is rinse repeat.
