I doubt Sky really care much about what UAE are doing. I think they want the bonus seconds gone. They were just making sure Contador didn't get a big lead accidentally.

Kwiatkowski gonna do all of the Telegraphe + first bit of the Galibier, he's not gonna bring that gap down by minutes I think

No but Contador will probably need clearly over 3 minutes on the foot of the Galibier if he wants to win the stage, considering the pace from the gc contenders will be very high on the galibier and that there is a false flat descent afterwards.
