Contador can TT better than all except Froome. So rest have to be careful. They have to work and get Contador back.

i would say he is as good as bardet and aru at timetrialing, not that much better.
Two years ago Contador put 2:47 into Aru in a TT

Orica. Seriously?
Pathetic. A 6th place. A frikking 6th place.
Complain endlessly when Sky works, complain endlessly when other teams work. They should probably just make cycling non-drafting, right?

yea lets everyone help Sky , pathetic
Why is it helping Sky? I'm sure Sky would be delighted to just have been allowed to ride at their own comforable pace all the way up the climb, and have 4 men left until half way up the Galibier. There's no serious threat to them up the road.

This. As if Sky really care about this move from Contador hahaha

Yates defending 6th makes absolutely no sense, as his main goal is the white jersey which isn't under any threat
I'm sure he'd love his GC position to be as good as possible too. Annoying move by Orica, yes, but completely reasonable

Who cares if they defend 6th place...He's a young rider who's never had a top 10 in the Tour.

I just realised that if Mjenties and UAE were racing 11 years ago, then Landis would have never been allowed to get more than two minutes up the road

Contador will have to get rid of Gallopin if he want's the stage win ...
He'll have to get rid of everyone...

Yep ! In a group of n riders, in the sprint he'll finish at best n-1. Contador's Theorem

besides, we still want AC to win this year's "most Top-10-without-a-win"-competition, don't we?

That was 2 years ago, today might take a heap out of him plus they could gap him tomorrow pretty quickly if it does.

Yeah but seeing the effort by Bertie today he will probably drop like a stone on the Izoard anyway. And the gap needs to be 5 minutes for Yates to be under threat, which it isn't - without taking into account that it will almost certainly come down even more later.

Re: Tour de France 2017 Stage 17: La Mure > Serre-Chevalier

I really don't think Contador looks very strong. I can actually see him getting dropped by a few riders

Why can't people just be honest that they want to happen whatever ensures their favourite rider wins, instead of attempting to frame it as someone wrongfully pulling when they "shouldn't"
