Why is it helping Sky? I'm sure Sky would be delighted to just have been allowed to ride at their own comforable pace all the way up the climb, and have 4 men left until half way up the Galibier. There's no serious threat to them up the road.

At the very least, Impey riding might drop Kwiatkowski more quickly. That can't be a bad thing.
