is there a minimum amount of riders a team is allowed?

No, but if there's less than three the teams gets removed from teams' classification.

Contador on a long range attack in the Alps, he must be terrified of Sammy Sanchez and Rolland catching him at the end.

2011 on the Alpe!!! That was a great stage to watch
Bit of an anticlimax though.

Andy Frank and Cadel held hands all the way up the Alpe.
Cadel I undersrtand why but Andy and Frank were idiots and lost the tour.

Maybe if Cadel hadn't punctured after Contador dropped him the 4 would have stayed away it could have been a GOAT stage
Andy was running on fumes after his efforts on Galibier and the solo effort the day before. Understandable. But Frank was outright disappointing that day, I agree

The way to beat Sky is by creating chaos, not by falling in line.
You can't beat the team anyway (with Kwiatek, Nieve, Landa). But Froome is beatable.

I wasn't talking about the GC fight but more that the race was on as soon as they hit the Télégraphe and we had action for the rest of the stage. I couldn't care less about time gaps with the GC.

It was on, but then it neutralised after a point as it became obvious everything would come back before alpe
