He should have gone once his train was used up about 6km from the finish. That was the opportunity to split the race apart. But he bottled it, and let Sky regain full control.

For all the critics of Bardet and Uran, I think they (Bardet in particular) were simply not strong enough to shake offf Froome. Bardet tried several attacks all tour and he simply could not shake him off. Froome just too strong. Not a good spectacle.
