Funny how, in the space of two years, Quintana has gone from being one of the most likeable riders on this forum to one of the most hated.

Partly he's started winning. People like underdogs and turn on them when they're successful.

Partly ex-teammates have started to talk about his personality and they rarely have anything good to say.

Really??

Any links/sources?
Visco I think..

It looks Quintana just doesn't improve anymore. He last really strong GT was in 2015, when he really owned Froome in the Alps.

Even in the Vuelta of last year, he wasn't that impressive. He was good, but he won that bike race because of Contador. Without his crazy attack on the Formigal stage, Quintana wouldn't have dropped Froome. Not by his own strenght.
I already said this once. Colombians tend to peak too early in their careers
Yep,now just wait if Gaviria break this pattern.
If Gaviria doesn't break this pattern after winning 4 Giro stages aged 22, then complaints about Kittel dominating sprints this year, or Sagan owning green for the last 5 years are going to start sounding adorable.

Really impressive stage from Sunweb. Put five guys in the break and Barguil might end up winning the stage, and getting some points for the Polka Dot

Yeah, it's super positive from them.

Who will win the stage??
Harder to pick than a broken nose.....

Aru.

Hope so...love that guy :)

Demare...36 mins back
How's the chance he will be OTL today?

100%.
I think more like 75% of him making it..
The time cut would be huge today

FInnish commentators (with Jussi Veikkanen) seem to think it's 35-42 minutes today. In that case he has no chance. But hard to say without the rule book.

Demare's gonna get so many bottles handed to him throughout rest of the stage. Hydration is important.
