Demare...36 mins back
How's the chance he will be OTL today?

100%.
I think more like 75% of him making it..
The time cut would be huge today

FInnish commentators (with Jussi Veikkanen) seem to think it's 35-42 minutes today. In that case he has no chance. But hard to say without the rule book.

I think you need a degree to understand how the time limit cut-off works. It's like the Duckworth Lewis system in one day cricket!

Dozed off, woke up. Still not on the climb

Jesus H Christ

Did I miss anything? I assume not...
Matthews won the sprint, Gallopin and Bakelants attacked from front group

Demare apparently on 37 minutes?

But still ahead of Van Emden

We may see leniency with regards to the time cut today.
Why?

If several of the primary sprinters are outside the cut.

Yeah, wouldn't want to make a rash decision on throwing a rider out of the race who might effect the destination of the green jersey :D

Gotta love how even Martin, Mentiejes, Yates all have team mates. The only two riders who have no one are Contador/Quintana.

Well, they are the weakest of the 3 riders you mentioned in my opinion. (Perhaps not Meintjes, but certainly Martin and Yates)

Pretty sad to see a battered Contador alone and having to get his own bottles when he's got two teamates in the break ahead, you'd never see something like that at Sky !

Dont get why they couldnt send down at least one of them. Unless he is not planning something this is pointless riding atm
He'd probably rather have them on the flat after the climb than now

He would have survived that little stretch. It would have been another ballgame if he attacked on Mont du Chat which might have been on the radar had he not chrashed. We'll see.

Eurosports needs (among other things) a better translator, that Contador interview was ALL wrong
