One thing I do remember is that Froome can't seem to drop anyone really, well except Quintana (giro/tour still no good combo) and Contador (over the hill, definitely now... )

Indeed. Nobody seems to be clearly stronger than the others but only Uran hasn't done anything (attacks) yet so we don't know what he is capable of.

We know he is able to keep up with Froome with a bent hanger and his shifting broken

apparently, the bus, without demare passed the 12 km line with 28 minutes, so will be pretty close

Seriously - who on Earth would have ever thought of URAN making a comeback, let alone winning a stage? :surprised:

What a stage - for all the good and bad reasons combined....feel so sorry for LRP - that's not the way to leave the Tour....

Anyone that follow and knows him knew he had it, he is such a hard worker

If Aru crashed, had to wait, lost time, then never made contact, and then Froome DQ'd, the race would be absolutely into tatters. It already is with Sagan's unfair DQ, the crashes and other things going on. Thankfully Aru didn't crash, though if Froome did that on purpose, it's pretty low. Lower than Aru attacking when Froome had a puncture.

Remember when Contador tried to attack on the col jallabert descent but went off the road in 2013 and Froome had a hissy fit afterwards about how this was illegitimate and no one is allowed to crash in front of him. Walsh backed Froome, but the rest of the cycling world didn't - saying you are allowed to attack in cycling.

Anyway, that incident suggests Froome is enough of a hot head to do something like this.

The second Contador was gapped I knew for 100% we'd hear this. Its like Cadel Evans used to be.

Making an issue of an "elbow" which doesn't exist. And substitute the word "competitiveness" for "sneakiness" and you'd be far more accurate. Plenty of people better qualified than me calling Arus behaviour a disgrace.

Nibali attacked in 2015 while he was 8 minutes down and in stage-hunt mode and Froome still threw a fit. Then again, those two do have a history (including a water bottle toss from Nibali).

He prepared for the Tour but he was supposed to be the co-leader with Rolland... He just wanted to have a good position but I think that now things will change

Yeah Froome definitely looking for revenge which I don't really blame him for.. that said he clearly went for Aru and wouldn't be surprised to see him get in trouble for it.
