I'm perfectly fine with them deciding to neutralize as long as they get back to racing at some point.
I am perfectly happy to see stage 1 neutralized. I hope they don’t/don’t have to consider it in the final week when jerseys are on the line.Am I the only one happy they are neutralizing it? I mean this could be the only GT ridden this year. I don't want half the contenders out by stage 1.
Nah I'm with you
Not a fan of abandoning all need for bike handling skills in the sport.Am I the only one happy they are neutralizing it? I mean this could be the only GT ridden this year. I don't want half the contenders out by stage 1.
Better one disappointment than the rest of the race ruined.Ah yes, the Tour, how I missed this...
A sprint is always dangerous.A sprint with completely fresh riders is also dangerous
I hardly think the riders deciding to self neutralize one short section of one stage of one race is abandoning all need for bike handling skills in the sport. Especially when bike handling skills may have absolutely nothing to do with whether you go down or not.Not a fan of abandoning all need for bike handling skills in the sport.
Sure sometimes it may be necessary, but it's starting to happen more and more
Next up were abandoning descents, etc.
NoIm all for the slowdown but if T.Martin decides that everyone limits to 30kph max then its should apply to Porte, Ewan and the rest.
And it's still happening.I think some damage has been done, so it won't be like this stage has not been raced. (Ineos might be 1 1/2 men down.)
