Always hate it when chase groups fail to work together like this. What do they think they're achieving lol...

If the chase group doesn't cooperate, the peloton could still catch them and Sagan could sprint for the points for second place.
Exactly. Sagan doesn't need to make up 2 minutes on Hirschi for 50 points, he needs 1 minute on Herrada, Alaphilippe, Benoot, Soler and Roche etc for 30 points.

But Bora aren't riding, so Sagan clearly isn't in that group.

Looks like Alaph is being Saganed. God it must be mentally hard for him to have the target like that in his back.
