A stage like this could be won by Steuven/Theuns/Pedersen, but they are protecting Porte instead.

Porte has a chance of a podium if he can stay on bike, and whilst doing so maintain his current level. He was the 3rd strongest yesterday. I think Trek is doing the right thing here.
