Kraghen couldn't pick a better moment to pull the move.
Clinical performance.
Congrats.
Lyon got its share of action.
The crowd deserved it.

Honestly...I won´t miss CCC. They do not attack. They do not chase. What was GVA doing? Why didn´t they ride for Trentin?
I'll make fun of bringing Bol as your main sprinter until the end of my days lol.Remember when we all made fun of how bad Sunweb's Tour squad was?
Btw why was Jumbo chasing Alaf, Sagan etc. again like complete idiots?
Just a completely disjointed chase. By the time Kragh attacked, the teams who cared about the stage win (Bora, CCC, Mitchelton) were all depleted in numbers. The teams who cared about pacing (Jumbo, Ineos) only cared about keeping their leaders out of trouble. He was closing every gap lol
15s for a late attacker is insane. Either the worst chase ever, or some serious motopacing, or both.
Tbf, Bling would have won that sprint for 2nd, so they missed a big chance for another 1-2.Remember when we all made fun of how bad Sunweb's Tour squad was?
No, they are simply Sunweb. No need for the team to disguise and market themselves behind an immature nickname
Stop trying to make 'out of time limit' happen - it's not going to happen!A sneaky Sagan plan could be, to send Buchmann out in a big long range attack, on one of the big mountain stages, to make it difficult to make the time limit.
In hindsight yes, but at the time it was a clever move to send away Kámna to make other teams chase, since Bora had no one else left to keep it together for a sprint.Bora needed to ride that finale a bit smarter. Kamna obviously had a lot left but his attack was a waste
Or just a very good rider. At least give some credit.
But I agree, Sagan would have won this sprint if he´d had some teammates left to chase when Alaphilippe and co. attacked.
They were chasing BernalBtw why was Jumbo chasing Alaf, Sagan etc. again like complete idiots?
Kamna's attack made sense as it forced other teams to do the accelerating to chase, and Sagan could just sit in all those wheels, rather than having Kamna and Sagan close all those gaps between them (which would have burned Kamna off earlier).Bora needed to ride that finale a bit smarter. Kamna obviously had a lot left but his attack was a waste
#KraghToWorlds
Screw the Binckbank Tour

This was a perfect opportunity for Matthews.
Silly Sunweb!
Who cares, he won't make a dent on the Worlds cours... He could win the Binckbank Tour, though.
I think they'd have been better off not trying to close any gaps and just have Kamna ride hard to chase down whatever was in front after the last climbKamna's attack made sense as it forced other teams to do the accelerating to chase, and Sagan could just sit in all those wheels, rather than having Kamna and Sagan close all those gaps between them (which would have burned Kamna off earlier).
