His run in the KoM jersey actually reminds me a bit of how Norman managed to win the KoM in Suisse a few years ago; everyone else just being nice enough to spread the points out between them.

The ultimate in that was Fabian Wegmann's win in the Giro's GPM in 2004. He was in 9 BOTD exploits and I don't think he ever managed to take a cat.1 summit, he scored 56 all in 3s and 5s.
