Is 2:33 behind Van Avermaet on GC.Lutsenko?
I honestly don't understand why none of the secondary GC teams try something on a stage like today.
People like Porte, Mollema, Bardet, Mas, Martin, etc.
A lot of GC captains are riding injured, and not putting pressure on them in the first week, will allow them to recover without losing time.
Not gonna happen today.GvA in the yellow would be cool. Giving CCC finally something to celebrate.
Yeah but last year he won Switserland instead of getting clobbered in L'Ain and the DauphineI think there is way too little talk about how Bernal was looking mediocre at best for two weeks in last years Tour as well and only even got into the position to take yellow in the Alps because nobody capitalized (and probably because Pinot, the guy who should have capitalized DNF'd anyway).
And I have the feeling they might be making the exact same mistake again. Yeah Roglic looks great, he has the TT still to come, but good luck Primoz if Bernal rides the Col de la Loze in top shape.
Because most of the guys probably has a lot of respect for Saturdays stage. Why put in an extreme effort to gain only 20s-30s today. With that stage coming up, where you can lose 10 minutes on a bad day.
GvA in the yellow would be cool. Giving CCC finally something to celebrate.
Mareczko wins in Hungary is not worth a celebration????GvA in the yellow would be cool. Giving CCC finally something to celebrate.
Only missing a Giro stage win now.Brilliant performance from Lutsenko.
Textbook one, I'd say.
Congrats.
Looking at the way Lutsenko destroyed his break companions and is still increasing the gap to the peloton now I'm not sure he would have been caught anyway.
1:20 down at the last count, will fall short.Where is he anyway? Does he still have 3 minutes?
