It's a shame this climb isn't closer to the finish

His race is done and all of a sudden he's reborn.
If his back got locked yesterday that would be possible to fix before today. Once I got my back locked up when getting out of bed. I had to be carried to the car and brought to a chiropractor. He spent 4 minutes breaking up my back and it was all okay. In the afternoon the same day I went for a 3 hour mountain run, not being bothered at all.

Didnt Kwiatkowski complain about something similar to "chronic fatigue" last year? When he wasnt really at the level we seen from him before. Most likely because he had been over-trained. Over-raced.

He needed a lot of time in the off-season to just rest. He hasnt really been much of a factor this year either, yet. Even if it hasnt been that many opportunities.
Some of the symptoms people have reported from overtraining are crazy, some claim it can make it seem like you have a serious illness.

This piece on overtraining in ultra runners is really interesting.

I don't know what kind of injury Pinot is going through but I recently slipped a disk from my back and had to rethink everything. I have bad days and some days are better when I'm on the move early in the day.

Don't they know that having Van Aert in the breakaway doesn't make their chances any bigger?
On the contrary.

Jumbo playing this stupidly imo. Have Van Aert up front and riding on the front of peleton. They're down to what I assume is kuss, Bennett, roglic and Dumoulin.
