He's not going to win another GT but there are a lot worse riders out there.Sorry to say, but Aru career might be over at this level.

Big reason why a september Tour should be the moment to strike for himPogi dislikes the heat and he was at his best on the hardest mountain stages.

That's his only chanceI guess Aru is praying he can catch up to the grupetto on the big Hourcuere?
Aru signaled he has a stomach flu![]()
It's just a 167 dude breakawayHow did Aru managed to remain alone at the back?
Overtraining seems to get more attention in distance runners than cyclists for some reason. A lot of ultra runners in particular have burnt themselves out very badly. I remember seeing something about one American guy who won a few consecutive 100 mile races about 10 years ago who still struggles with periodic chronic fatigue now due to over training.I know Aru changed his trainer a couple of years ago. Could it be a case of that he might have gotten "over-trained" and just never recouped form again? I mean a lot of athletes careers has dipped rapidly, because they got over-trained. Never got back to their previous level again.
I know he did the operation to even out blood flow in his leg etc, but I always thought that sounded like a case of desperation even. Because he had been showing poor form.
Idk. Purely speculation.
I also get hungry when I'm angryI think he was trying to say he's hungry.
Think soSagan has tried a couple of times: are DQS making a point of avoiding him in the break?
